The Pont Du Gard is an ancient Roman Aquaduct Bridge that crosses the Garden river near Remoulins , in Southern France .
The Pont Du gard is located 25 kilometers from Nimes , in the direction of Avignon .
Inscribed in the world UNESCO heritage list since 1985 , The Pont Du Gard is visited by 12,500,000 tourists every year .The Bridge is a part of the Aquaduct built in the year 50 to transport water .
